Saturday of Service (S.O.S) MEMBERS OF SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL OF CIRENCESTER SUPPORT THE MAYOR’S LITTER CAMPAIGN Members of Soroptimist International of Cirencester and District, in their blue sweatshirts and sporting blue and yellow rosettes, were seen in Cirencester town centre on Saturday collecting litter in support of the Mayoral anti-litter campaign. Deryck Nash the Mayor was outside the Parish Church to greet the Soroptimists and to join them as they set to with their brushes and litter pickers. Soroptimist International (SI) is a worldwide organisation for women in management and the professions working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. Soroptimists seek to become an active influence for positive change in society through Awareness, Advocacy and Action at all levels of society, local, national and international. Back to news archive
