Our Vision:

Next Business & Programme Action Meeting:
Wednesday
1 February

Soroptimist International is a vibrant, dynamic organisation for today’s professional and business women. We are committed to a world where women and girls together achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations and have an equal voice in creating strong and peaceful communities worldwide.

Membership of Soroptimist International gives an opportunity of:
undertaking local, national and international projects to benefit women and girls; enjoying service, friendship and fun; lobbying, influencing and making a difference for women at home and abroad; meeting women from different countries and cultures; attending international and national conferences and attending meetings of any club in the world.
Membership will give you:
a range of opportunities to develop leadership and other skills;
access to “members only” magazines, websites and databases;
use of our residential club in London, at highly competitive rates;
the possibility of staying with Soroptimists worldwide
In addition to attending meetings at their own clubs, members have the opportunity to attend regional and national events and study days. All members can attend the annual Federation Conference, which is held at a different location in the Federation each year. There are additional opportunities to attend International Conventions.

Wednesday 21 March 2012
SI Cirencester are holding a Members bring a friend at the Royal Agrilcultural College

The majority of Soroptimists work is to help improve the lives of
women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.
Almost 90,000 Soroptimists in over 3000 clubs in more than 124
countries contribute time and financial support to community–based
and international projects that benefit women and girls.

Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the
focus of volunteer work in their communities. We call our voluntary
work "Programme Action". Programme Action is the reason for
being a Soroptimist. It reflects the Vision and the Mission of
Soroptimist International.

Our Mission

Soroptimists inspire action and create opportunities to transform
the lives of women and girls through a global network of members
and international partnerships.
